Victor De la Flor Kivaki is a licensed attorney in Texas, Florida,  New York, and the Republic of Peru*. He has more than ten years of international professional experience, particularly in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. He possesses a multicultural background and can communicate in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, he can work on multiple projects and transactions simultaneously. He is experienced in contract negotiation and legal risk management within multinational corporations, particularly in the banking industry and top 100 companies in Latin America. He has also experience in business and family immigration.

 

A Juris Doctor, he graduated cum laude with a concentration in International Economic Law and Policy. He also holds an LL.M. from the University of Texas at Austin. He published several articles in comparative consumer protection law in Portugal and Brazil.

Maria Herrera Mellado

Senior Associate

Maria Herrera Mellado is a practicing licensed attorney in the United States and Spain.*

 

She has experience as a consultant and advisor to Hispanic America politicians as well as corporate officers, investors and entrepreneurs. She specializes in comparative contracts, corporate, investment and immigration law and policy. She also has a vast international work experience as a young lawyer for the United Nations (New York, NY), the European Union (Brussels, Belgium) and the National Association for Consumer Protection (Coimbra, Portugal).

She holds a Ph.D. degree in comparative business law and an LL.B. at the University of Granada (Spain), a Juris Doctor and LL.M. from the University of Arizona, a Corporate M.B.A. at the Florida International University. Maria is a certified French-Spanish translator and court interpreter by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

 

Maria has taught comparative corporate, consumer protection and immigration law in several Universities in Europe, the U.S. and Latin America. She has authored several articles on data protection, new technologies, consumer, financial and comparative banking law in very prestigious magazines and books published in Spain, Portugal, Peru and Brazil, and co-authored two books published in Perú and Colombia.

Maria has received a Certificate of Merit by the city of Miami in recognition of her excellent service to the community and a summa cum laude award by Group GEES, a Spanish association dedicated to national security law and defense. She has also been nominated as one of the most influential women in Florida by Diario las Americas, the first Spanish newspaper in South Florida and the second oldest in the United States. 

She is proficient in English, Spanish and French and basic Portuguese. Her practice is limited to federal immigration and international law matters.

Diego Molina Zuñiga

Diego provides strategic advice and planning on a full range of corporate, energy, business immigration, employment and labor law. Has a strong background in regulatory compliance, alternative dispute resolution, real estate, and administrative proceedings. He is an experienced advocate for clients in litigation and negotiating transactional matters.

 

Diego received his LL.M. from The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas and LL.B. from the Universidad de Lima in Peru. He is admitted to practice in Texas and Peru.

Victor Zegarra Lara

Victor Zegarra Lara is a lawyer graduated from the School of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has a vast experience in Litigation and Dispute Prevention and Resolution, especially in commercial and contractual disputes, liability and damages.

 

In Peru, he represents various companies from different industries, in their litigation matters before civil and commercial courts as well as arbitrators and arbitral panels.

His practice is based in Lima, Peru.

Tomás Prieto Moraleda is a licensed attorney and criminologist in Spain. He currently specializes in Corporate Legal Technology, Mediation, and Consumer Data Protection.

 

He is the founding partner of Logic Cost Abogados Offices and the owner of "A Mediar"—awarded the 2015 best mediation blog in Spain.

He holds a B.S in Criminology, an LL.B. and two LL.M.s in Mediation and Zoning Law from the University of Granada, as well as a Diploma in New Technologies, Digital Communication and Ecommerce .
